Steve, Hi! This is a great start. I will look through some other HOG Chapter web sites for ideas over lunch today. Thank you for all of your time you are putting in to the web site.

Judy sent this through email last night.

Steve,

I have been looking at other sites for a while. Some of the things I like are...

Many have the date and time of the meetings on the front page and up coming events and changes.

Big Moose Harley in Maine has a lot of links of interest. One is for AAA never knew they would also cover your bike. They also have a very cool "Recommended Local Eats"

I also like the idea of the calendar that has each event on the same day a different color and we can click on the event and get more information.

I am sure anything you do will be awesome!!!!

I like the Chesapeake HD Hog site. Check it out I have the site name below.
http://www.chesapeakehog.com/Events/Eventspage.htm
They have on their ride calander of each ride, you can click on it and another screen opens up with information of the ride and you can sign up for the ride on the website. This year we are asking the ride leaders to complete the form of their ride of all the information, these can be put on the site for all to see.

The Chesapeake H-D HOG web site is very similar to what we talked about when the topic of a new web site was first discussed.  The "live" calendar is the feature we are needing to take the place of the discontinued hard copy ride calendar.  I like the easy to use aspect.    Is tris something we can mirror?

Steve,

Lookin good...  We just went thought this process on the Mid-Atlantic BBQ Association website.  We added a on-line membership renewal feature (Wild Apricot) that also could be used for ride registration.

Thanks for your time and effort!

Steve,

I like the features of the new ride calendar software, I think it will work out great for our chapter.  I went in and added some events, and played around with it, at this point I do not see any thing need changed.

I will spend more time with it, if I see any thing to suggest for changes I will let you know.

Steve,

The feedback I have received so far is very positive in regards to the calendar. I hope that the snow will have people surfing the web since there are limited things to do with their spare time. It is a good time to plan out their ride participation schedule.

Excellent start. Thank you very much.
